I want a new car. 

A $20,000 Avalon. 

Something sleek, that will impress sleek, good-looking people. 

However, with that money, I could be very nearly out of debt.

Alternatively, I could buy a computer for my creative Adobe endeavors, and get my marketing-for-nonprofits business going. 

And buy almost every musical instrument that I have ever wanted. In fact, while mulling over the beautiful Avalon that Lydia and I test drove, I picked a Musician’s Friend Fall catalog out of the mail box. $20,000 would go a long way in that magazine. 

Thus, my choice is, drive in style and comfort, and look good to the Fresas. Or drive in a geek-mobile, while spending money on things that would impress the geeks. Who do I really want to impress, anyway?
