Multitasking

It seems like everybody is multitasking nowadays, but most people aren't good at it (cell phones and cars for example.) Well, it depends on what you do. Like earlier today I was practicing piano while listening to Phineas and Ferb through headphones (well I did watch all the episodes.) Please send me ideas too.

  1. All super-smart geek-nerds find themselves multi-tasking. It is a sign of brains! Trying to learn 3 things stretches the brain much more than just trying to learn 1 thing! But it increases stress and "brain-noise", so sometimes it is better to remove distractions and just completely focus on one thing. I am teaching my overweight patients to not try to multi-task while eating. Focusing just on the food is much healthier, and people who eat while watching tv, playing online, or listening to the radio gain a lot more weight.
