Star Trek Transporters

You know, in Star Trek they use transporters a lot. It supposedly makes an exact copy of your body and your mind, keeping all the memories and stuff. But all that is stored in physical forms, so if you just make an exact copy and destroy the first one, you'd essentially be killing the person and just making an exact copy. But people could keep on transporting and think that it worked, so they'd be killing thousands of people every day. It's something to think about I guess.

Santa Tracker!

www.google.com/santatracker/ is just what the name says. It's a thing from Google where you can track Santa as he goes around the globe! You can see where he's at, how many presents he's delivered, and you can track him in 3D!

Early Christmas

Sorry about the quality of this one. I was typing this to my dad because I had a sore throat and couldn't talk, so it wasn't as much blogger-tailored.

This year I got like the most amount of presents I ever have. And most were electronics! I think in my stocking I had one of those lights that stick on to stuff that are circles and when you push on the light it clicks. Under the tree I got one of those Snap Kit things but it was a remote control car. You know, those electronic kits that have the motor and the red disc that shoots up. But it was a remote control car. Wait I can get an image. So it’s got a foam disc shooter and also you can record your voice and have it so you drive up and shoot discs or play the recording. And the remote has little triggers that you use to shoot the discs and play the recording. Lydia got one of those regular kind that shoot the spinning disc. I think it just has a piece that’s the thing that receives the signal and it can output up to 2 devices so I could put the disc on and go up to Gati and shoot the disc. Then I also got a something… Oh yeah then together we got a karaoke machine with a one wired mic and one wired/wireless mic. It came with some discs too. Then we got a clue on the Christmas tree that took us to the basement, then the garage, then a closet, then the attic, where the flatscreen TV was. Mom said it took forever to wrap. I think it was 42”. So as we were carrying it downstairs I was remarking on how I wished we had gotten a Wii, and then Andy said there was one more present in the cubby underneath the bench on the landing next to the attic door. So me and Lydia got it and brought it downstairs and in it was a Wii! It was black and had two games on one disk. It had both the regular Wii Sports and Wii Sports Resort. But Wii Sports Resort was all set on the island of Wahu or something, which is that one island with a volcano that I biked on. But this was for a completely different game. But they had airplanes for one of the games, and I was feeling kind of nostalgic, because I was flying over everything that I had biked through or used a dirt bike through a few years ago. Like, I was flying down the road where I had made Lydia trip dozens of times. And I flew through the tunnel I always biked down. Well, after I played Wii for awhile we left for Barb and Daves, and we went outside with Chloe and Sloane to build stuff. First we made a snowman, and then we went to our fort under the bridge in the golf course. I ended up making a pretty good fort, with a hole into the side of a dry creek bed that I could sit up in comfortably. But then we had to go in and eat. Later we got to open presents, and first me and Lydia got a video camera that was like an iPod Touch, except that where the square would be it was the record button. I didn’t really play around with it that much. Then I got a Kindle. I hope I can take it to school, because then I wouldn’t  always run out of books. And so far that’s what I’ve gotten for Christmas.

Movies

Movies rock. They're like moving pictures! Blob.

No School!

Because of all the snow on Wednesday, I didn't have to go to school yesterday. It was fun. I got to play Minecraft and Roblox all day. And we probably watched about 3 hours of Spongebob. I mean, it's always on! They could just have a Spongebob channel!

Blizzard

It snowing! A lot!

Choir Concert

I had my choir concert last night, which is why I didn't post. I was way more nervous for this than for my band concert. Maybe because I was up front. Anyway, we sang about four songs, and yeah. It was pretty uneventful.

Crazy Class Periods

You know, there are some class periods where it's really crazy. But sometimes the craziness is really funny, and other times you feel like you need a shock-prod to stay sane. My seventh grade math class and my homeroom are both the funny kind. Today in choir, it was more the shock-prod necessity.

Last Minute Projects

Sorry about not posting yesterday. I had to work on a project for school that I forgot about. I had to get 10 items that have to do with my character from the book. I kind of stretched the descriptions, but I still did it. But the kid behind me forgot to bring some stuff so he was hoping that he would be able to go on Thursday so hard it looked like he was constipated. (He really did!)

Pizza

Pizza's good. It's all cheesy and bready and meaty and stuff. And you can customize them! Breadsticks are really good too. That's a problem with DirectTV. The commercials make me hungry because they always show breadsticks or chicken or bacon hamburgers or something delicious. And then it makes me really want to go and buy it! I guess that is the point of the commercial though... Okay so somehow I got from pizza to marketing techniques. I like doing that. It's fun.

Band Concert

Sorry I didn't post last night. I was at my band concert. It was really fun. But we got there half an hour before the concert started and by 6:30, with half an hour to go, I was bored. And then it got reeeeally loud from everyone warming up. The concert was pretty good. I think a clarinet honked in a rest on the last song though. But it was fun! Especially the ice cream afterwards!

3DTin

3DTin is an awesome 3D modeling program. So far I haven't figured out anything you can't do. It's quite user-friendly, and all objects made are filed under the Creative Commons Act so you can use everybody else's projects. And there are some pretty awesome projects on there!

Getting Out of School

Today I started having a big stomache ache, but I thought it was just because I was hungry. But then after lunch it got worse and I started feeling nauseous. So I got to go to the nurse and lay down on a comfy couch. Then my dad came and picked me up and that led to me being at his office watching Minecraft videos and typing on an annoyingly loud keyboard. (It's reaaaaly annoying.)

TV

Recently I got DirectTV. It rocks. I've already watched multiple hours of Modern Marvels and a few Clash of the Gods. I love playing Minecraft and watching TV at the same time. It's fun. And commercials are funny! They're way better than computer Youtube commercials. Some are also just plain cheesy.

Some Rambling

Sorry about not posting the past few days. It's hard to get back into the swing of things. And by things I mean blogging. I need to get some more Youtube videos published. Maybe I can just use those as posts sometimes. I'm watching a video where a dude is killing spiders and dying and eating pork chops. He's funny. He once made a Jackolantern and named it Jeffrey. Then a zombie ate it. Then on a different video he blew up all the pumpkins because they weren't Jeffrey the pumpkin. Jeffrey the guard pumpkin!

Hot Air Balloons

Today there was a big hot air balloon that followed me home. When I had just left the school, it was pretty far away, but the longer I rode, the closer it got until it was almost above me. It was also way closer to the ground. It was pretty cool. It was going almost the same speed I was on my bike. It was so close I could here it going Phoooooom! when they put on the fire. I really want to ride on one. Maybe bring along a basket of paper airplanes and throw them off.

The Greece Myths

Sorry about not posting yesterday. It's hard to get back into the routine of blogging every day. Wait did I post yesterday? Nope I didn't. Right now I'm watching a thing about the Greek Gods. It's really interesting. I'm so glad that I have DirectTV now. I even like the commercials! Especially when they're funny. This semi-documentary is awesome. Especially if you've read Percy Jackson.

The Cuzzy Cast!

This weekend my cousins and I created a Youtube channel called, TheCuzzyCast! We'll be posting stuff about Minecraft and bacon and stuff. We need some Pac-Man on there too. That'd be funny. PAC-MAN!!!    Pacy Many. That didn't work well. Okay, here's the link; http://www.youtube.com/user/TheCuzzyCast. Go check it out!

Kitties

Today was our first day on the job at Start Over Rover. We're going to volunteer there every week now I guess. Basically all we have to do is make sure they have water, sweep the floor, clean the litter boxes, and give the kitties wuv! We've definitely got the last part down. Some of the cats climbed up the scratching poles and walked on top of the pyramids made by the tarps on top of the cages. It was pretty funny, especially when someone wanted them down.
